I’m enjoying quiet weekend.
As I wrote on another post, I like reading and I’m reading “the Artist’s Way” by Julia Cameron right now.
I only read about 17 pages and there are another 230 pages to read, but I’m really enjoying it.
I wish I could read faster but I’m not a quick reader.
This book is about how to recover our creativity.
I borrowed the description below from Amazon.

This book seems quite popular, but I never heard about it until recently.
I thought I wasn’t a creative person, but I wanted to be more creative.
This book says I can be a creative person if I exercise all the activities following the instructions on the book.
This is what I need when I read an English book.
I cannot read without dictionary, as I want to understand the book better.
Also I enjoy finding the meaning of words.
These are other books I’m reading.
The left one is the original book, and the right one is its Japanese translation.
These books are about VIA character strengths.
They explain how important character strengths are, descriptions of 24 character strengths, and how to boost character strengths.
I like the concept of character strengths, and keep recommending my friends to take this free survey.

It takes about only 15 minutes to answer 120 questions.
I’m holding a reading club using this book in 3 weeks, so I need to read one section for the preparation. This reading club focuses on one character strength, and the focused strength is “Perspective”.
My strength of “Perspective” is ranked 23rd among 24 character strengths, so it is a little hard for me to understand fully. I’m hoping that I can understand it better and foster my “Perspective” through this reading club.
